Inside Job

Accessibility

Last updated: August 12, 2026

Inside Job is text first, which is a good starting point for accessibility, but it does not get you there on its own. Here is exactly what the game supports and what it does not, so you can decide before you download.

VoiceOver

Every control in the game carries a label and a role, including the meters, which are exposed as progress indicators with a numeric value and announce when one of them crosses into danger. Character portraits and ending illustrations are either named or hidden from the swipe order, so you never land on a bare image. Dialogs trap focus while they are open. All story text, choices, outcomes and epilogues are real text, never baked into artwork.

Voice Control

Everything is a named button, so you can play by voice. Nothing in the game requires a gesture, a drag or a timed tap.

Larger Text

The game supports the system text size up to 200 percent. Story pages, choices, the Ledger and the settings screens grow and scroll. The narrow single-line chrome at the top and bottom of the screen grows to a smaller multiple, because past that point the numbers stop fitting on one line, and a readable number matters more than a large one.

Reduce Motion

Turn it on and the game goes still. Meter fills snap instead of sliding, the danger pulse stops, the news ticker holds still instead of scrolling, screens appear instead of fading, and numbers change instead of counting up. Nothing in Inside Job animates without checking that setting first.

Color and contrast

No information in the game is carried by color alone. Meters are named and numbered next to their bars. Prices carry arrows and signed percentages. Positions say SHORT or NO POSITION in words. Choices carry a written line about what the move costs, not just a colored border. Ledger entries are labeled in words. Every piece of text in both eras meets or exceeds a 4.5 to 1 contrast ratio against its own background.

Dark interface

The game is dark only, in both eras, by design. There is no light mode, and turning on Light Appearance in iOS will not change it.

Captions and audio descriptions

These do not apply. Nobody in Inside Job speaks out loud. All dialogue is written on screen, and the audio is score and interface sound only, so no information reaches you through audio that is not already written down. There is no video content.

Sound, music and haptics

Each can be turned off independently in Settings, and the game is fully playable in silence.

Something not working

If an accessibility feature does not behave the way this page describes, that is a bug and we want to hear about it. Write to [email protected] and say which feature and which screen.
